I am curious if there is a need to sand primer before topcoat. I have had many parts and the engine bay in primer for a few weeks.
Is there a "window" with primer or can I simply clean and shoot or do I need to create new mechanical adhesion???

I have about 3/4'' between the dash frame pieces. How does one replace rivets/reinstall vintag?
Is there a special tool for the rivets as it is impossible to get my rivet gun into a 3/4'' space?
I am currently restoring a 68 roadrunner and Have run into yet another part I cant seem to find. I am trying to replace the front vent window glass and am in need of the rubber piece that sets in the frame that the glass sets in. Is this referred to as glass run? Where might I find those?
