guys, ive been fighting this damn hurst promatic 2 shifter from day 1, never reliable, never know what gear im in for sure, neutral can never be found ect..... tried adjusting this thing 3 times with a few seasoned vets and they chalk it up to slop in the ratcheting mechanism,,,, that being said...
for my 1970 , I have now ordered 2 trunk locks and neither fit for some reason, they are too small but yet both parts places say this is what I need. it looks like there is supposed to be some sort of washer that goes around the outside or the lock flange itself needs to be about 1/4" bigger...
guys, have a 493 stroker with 871 bds blower, scat rods and crank, hardland sharp rockers, eddy heads, girdle ect.. what max rpm would you run? it keeps making power as far as you will take it. just wondering what I should put in for a rev limiter pill, probably going to shift at 5800 normally...

has anyone had any luck with these, "good or bad"?. im installing one on my blown 493 e85 setup and am a little worried about running out of fuel, I called the guys at aeromotive and after all the number crunching they said it will work but its going to be right on the verge of being enough...
I must say that the friendly customer service and great help I have gotten from these guys is next to none! there prices are very good and from the 5 year warranty and 1 free stall adjustment I don't think a guy could go wrong! hopefully the convertor preforms like it should and if it does these...

i am building a 1970 charger thats going to have around 850-900 hp "440 with blower" and im wondering with all that torque do i need a roll bar for body stiffness? i have hotchkis connectors installed, this car will only have 11" wide street slicks and caltracs so will porobably never launch...
