Getting ready to re-install the engine (440) in my '69 Super Bee. I removed the trashed/cracked headers prior to pulling the engine.
I'm wondering if I should re-install the engine first, then install the headers. Or do the headers first (untorqued) and then install the engine? Wondering which...
I'm trying to decide whether or not to clear coat or paint a new fuel tank for my '69 Super Bee.
What was the original factory finish on the fuel tanks? I'm fairly certain fuel tanks were NOT painted from the factory.
So far I've seen pics of the bare galvanized steel look, or a gunmetal gray...
I'm looking for these small rectangular foam pads that go between the tail light finish panel and trunk filler panel on a '69 Super Bee where the screws would fasten the finish panel to the body. One side (maybe both) has adhesive backing on it.
I guess I could make my own using double-sided...
