So I found a 64 polara 500 convertible close to me. Pretty good shape for a reasonable price I think. It's gold. When I looked up the color it looks to be Anniversary Gold. I read more and found that it was the 50th anniversary. Were there 50th anniversary editions in other model lines?
I know these aren't expensive wheels, but I figured I'd see if anyone has a set for sale before I buy new. Looking for 4 (or 5) 15x8 Cop Car wheels (series 69) with 4" backspacing. I live near Bedford, IN. Thanks for looking.
I need a 65 fury parts car (preferably 4 door). It can be rusted to who wouldn't have it. I need all the accessories, wiring, gauges, hvac controls, etc... for a wagon. A front passenger side door wouldn't hurt either. I live in Bedford, IN but am willing to drive within 200 miles or so to pick...
I'm looking for the passenger side door glass for a 67 2dr hardtop (gtx). I don't need the vent window, just the door window. I live in Indiana, so obviously the closer the better.
You know, I've never been to one, not even when it was still in Indy. What are the vendors prices like there in general? I've been to some shows where the prices are fair/good and I've been to others where everything seemed to be minted out of gold. Been a while since I've had a project and this...
On the fender tag on my 67 GTX, the numbers on the third row (1-8), there is a 5 under the 1. However, I have been unable to find any fender tag codes related to those numbers. Anyone have knowledge on those? To be honest, its the first I've seen of any numbers under those. I believe these are...
Looking for a windshield and passenger door glass for a 67 GTX. I'd like to find someone somewhat local due to shipping and my recent experiences in handling. I live in Southern Indiana.
Thanks!
Looking to buy v8 k member (67 is my year but obviously there are several years that fit) preferably close to southern Indiana as picking it up is usually cheaper than shipping. Thanks!
Were the Magnum/Super Commando/TNT all the same part number? I've read they are all the same mechanically, but would they have all been pulled from the same "bin" with different air cleaners or did each have unique casting numbers/part numbers?
It seemed like they wanted to make a big deal out of the GTX but I've not seen much in the way of old ads/reports of the announcement. I've seen the November 66 Car and Driver review, so they likely would have tested it in September but don't recall ever seeing any press announcements.
What function did this code serve? Was this to let the line know GTX only options could be applied? I assume that the "option" was basically saying the same thing as "S" in "RS23".
I was curious that if these engines would all have been produced at the same plant with the same numbers. I know they have the same specs and of the only difference is the cleaner on top... Aside from the vin ID ing what it came in.
although I've been planning on buying my barracuda back, I've also been keeping an eye out for a 66/67 belvedere wagon. In the process I've come across a few 67 GTXs. They range all over in price. What would be the going rate for a complete rolling example that is only in need of sheet metal?
WTB B Body Wagon project
Looking for a 70 or earlier wagon. 70 Coronet Wagon or 66-67 Belvedere Wagon is my preference. Preferably something that can move under its own power. I'm in Indiana, but Continental US is potentially ok. Not necessarily opposed to other B body wagons but looking for a...
Hello all. I've been on FABO for many years. But had sold my 68 Barracuda several years ago. The guy I sold it to offered to sell it back to me, but when I called back to see about picking it up, he jumped the price up on me. So I think I may pass on that and look into getting one of the wagons...
