My 73 is very original and appears untouched - two questions :
1) My power booster is black vs cadmium , but appears original as it has the "Mopar 43" decal still in place - were some cad and some black ?
2) Beep beep horns are black, not purple ...... are they wrong ?
Thanks - should...
So ...... what's my next move here, I can't visualize how the threaded arm comes out as the widened areas where the bolts run through won't clear the bushings - I know this'll will be one of those "duh" moments , but ............
.... and I'll be taking them in to have pressed out/in.
I know Phoenix has good stuff but I'm on a tight budget for my current resto - I see less expensive stripes/kits ( Ebay) out there that are the (same ?) 3M vinyl, same warranty, etc. Any body have experience with the products ? I know there are a few members of Mopar sites that do the graphics...
Buddy just bought a 74 Sebring Plus Sundance Edition. It's original bronze , nice body, really nice funky interior. It has a RR hood, 318 car. He intends to restore as original, or clone to a Roadrunner but not sure which way to go and will most likely sell. We're not sure of the desirability...
Anybody do a rear disc conversion/swap other than aftermarket setups ? Looking to save some $ and upgrade my 73 with 8 3/4. Yes , just for "bling" factor - want them visible and drilled.
Maybe not a nightmare, but one of the worst/tedious jobs (including rears) - anyone know of a thread or have a link, etc to pics/diagrams of window mechanism assembly/disassembly - I got mine out (glass and all) but it wasn't pretty - now its time to put the guts back in and it's been awhile. I...
73 Roadrunner - I've had columns apart for detailing, and have destroyed a few ignition switches on locked columns (don't ask). My switch feels like it's about to go - often takes alot of wiggling to get it through the motions - are they tough to replace ? Any tips or links ?
Suspension this time - I don't have the time at this point to rebuild the full front end - but it looks like while the engine is out is the time to do the upper A arm bushings - can I do these without removing the entire control arm (as in separating ball joints, etc) - also plan to do the K...
I can see multiple ways to release the trans, and all would work fine, but what is preferred (keep in mind my full exhaust is intact so I'd like to leave the crossmember attached to the body if possible ? The single bolt (blue arrow) seems like the trick but may be tough to line up when...
Question : is the half (or 3/4) vinyl top trim piece one section or two - any decent pictures of yours would be helpful, also looking for the trim for my car if anyone may have .........
