I'm rebuilding my coronet 500 and upon first start it seems the steering box is deadheading.
Hose jumps on cranking and pump starts chirping shortly thereafter and pump heats up rapidly.
It's unknown how long box sat in the car with no hoses.
Looking at the fsm it appears that there are valves...
I'm in the process of rebuilding my 67 coronet 500 bought as a roller.
The car is currently in pieces.
There is a booster installed and there is absolutely no pedal movement. I pulled the master thinking it was seized but no change at the pedal.
Is there supposed to be some pedal movement?
Is anyone treating the replacement parts before installing them?
I'm getting ready to replace my torsion crossmember and floor pans in my 67 coronet and figuring I will spray them with weld through primer but wanted to see what others are doing.
