Hey guys, I finally got rid of my 71 satellite rr clone. Happy to see it go to a great buyer in Germany who flew down to Los Angeles to see it. I just bought a 1972 satellite from NC I've been daily-driving as well as a front-end rebuild kit and some bilsteins for my 94' explorer. I hope ya'll...
Hello everyone, I have a manual steering box with a stock steering ratio which is 24:1 . Does anyone make a rebuild kit to increase the ratio to 16:1? Thanks
Hi guys, I have noticed that my manual steering box is quite sloppy for a recent rebuild (1 year). I tried tightening the nut on top all the way down but the box still has a little bit of slack. I hear there is another way in the FSM to tighten it? Any help would be appreciated thanks.
Hey guys, I am in the middle of rebuilding the front end on my 71 RR. I have ac delco sway bar links and rubber bushings on the sway bar. The rest of the suspension has polyurethane bushings including the rear sway bar. Will it make much of a difference to swap the new front sway bar rubber...
Good evening everyone, I hear that you can remove these torsion bars with a 3/4 in. stainless steel pipe repair clamp. Does anyone know if this will work?

Hey guys I just finished painting my 71 RR tribute and I am getting ready to re-do the front suspension. Rear-suspension has been rebuilt with stock leaf springs new rubber bushings and a 7/8 rear sway bar with poly bushings. Shocks are brand new. Front sway bar is stock with new rubber...
Getting ready to spray the RR clone in Single Stage, I've heard of spraying 2 coats and then sanding and then respraying to get a super deep finish? Should I do this route or just spray 4 coats in the same session? Will wet sand and buff either way.
Decided to paint the car in sublime green. My single stage came in today as did the upol high build primer and body filler. Im a decently experienced painter but I have not got the hang of spraying single stage. Any tips? Going to finish with the 3m trizact system after either way.
Hi guys, I put long tube 5901 headers in my 340/904 satellite. It's a column shift car so I followed the instructions on how to flip around, cut and weld the original brackets as well as the torsion bar from the steering column. It is probably user error but this thing does not want to go into...
Im looking into buying a 73 roadrunner that has the factor power steering installed. Is there any way I can install the 14:1 Borgeson unit and re-use the factory pump?
Hi guys, I bit the bullet and I am about to order a Borgeson 14:1 power steering box. All of the videos I see online involve dropping the steering column. Is there any way I can do this without dropping the column? Going from manual to power steering.
So after replacing my speedometer with an autozone CA3014 unit I have run into some issues. It worked fine for about a few minutes until the speedometer dropped below 0 to the middle point of the gauge and stayed there. It moves slightly when the car is rolling down the road but other than that...
Working on that 71 satellite Roadrunner clone. Bilstein's were out of my budget and I wanted it to handle as nicely as possible so I ordered 4 gas-a-just shocks from kyb. I ran Monroe shocks on some of my other cars which made them ride nice but float a bit. I hear good things about the handling...
Theoretically a 71 Roadrunner with a firm feel/Borgeson 14:1 steering box, boxed lowers tubular uppers and poly bushings with bigger torsion bars and big sway bars front & rear vs a new M3? which owuld handle better?
Hi guys, I will be moving soon from the 3rd world dump known as Los Angeles to the beautiful Arizona countryside god willing. I am planning to drive my RR clone about 450 miles instead of shipping it. Has a well-built 340 with a 904 which are in good shape but the 8 3/4 still howls loud even...
Hi guys, I'm new to the forum, and I have a semi daily 71 Plymouth Satellite Roadrunner clone I'm planning on Hellcat swapping. It currently has a very well-built 340 with an equally nice 904. I found a nice hellcat with the supercharger for 5k and a 727 for 2k. I am trying to find out how much...
