Where can the front bumper rubber filler strips be found for a 1973 Dodge Coronet 4 door custom sedan?
These are the fillers between the body fenders, hood and the front bumper.
I'm out of town at the moment, but I can respond from abroad asap.
Thank you.
CHRISTINE may have had Arnie Cunningham under her subliminal spell, but my '65 Dodge, long nicknamed MR.HYDE, has me wrapped up in plain sight.
Since most of you know how maniacally maddening this car project has become, it's only proper that this announcement be made here. After all, some of...
I've posted this question here before but can't seem to find it in the archive searches.
Other than the softest Terry cloth towels recommended for the job, which brand of cleaner and polish is best for Lexan glass maintenance?
Other than plain water and soap, what do you guys use to wash and upkeep flat, semi and satin black painted surfaces? An example would be a semi flat black A12 lift off hood.
I am curious as to how reputable are Reliable car courier services as far as handling on the racks, on time pickup/delivery, car rack positioning and so forth? My car which has highly fragile invincible panels, ie: aluminum doors, thin gauge fenders, lexan glass, unique starting and turning off...
Do any of y'all have a lead on fetching the 5 or so OEM clips that attach the leading chrome molding on the hoods of '65 Coronets?
I've misplaced mine.
I rather have original Chrysler types as I don't know how the reproduction units will fit or behave.
I know a couple of the original team members that campaigned this car out of Bay Shore Long Island, New York back the days.......and nights.;) Does anyone happen to have any photos of the car other than this one posted on here?
Car was sponsored by JC Penny's in Bay shore, hence the Penny...

Is black chromium or black chrome powder coating a thing of the past or is still being performed?
I had my rear bumper powder coated in black chrome in north Detroit and can't remember the gents info. He did an excellent job that still stands to this day.
Have I been wrong all this time in indicating that a 1965 Dodge Coronet plain Jane sedan is a 330?
330 being the lowest grade model in the semi crowded field of 440-500 models in 1964 and before supposedly was discontinued in the '65 year. Am I wrong or right?.
Just wondering if this has to do with cookies or status on the board. I'm locked out of any more private conversations as we speak. Limited only to 15 which I have already reached.
No worries, just curious.
Contrary to other makes and their drag links, the Mopar drag link at the points of mounting (Pitman arm, Idler arm, Tie rod ends) are considered a non wear item.
For that reason alone, is it NOT so important to lube those ends at the time of mounting? How many of you actually apply a dab of...
STINGER FIBERGLASS Products. I just literally got off the phone with the owners and they are back in business creating all of the parts in the Mopar catalog. This is fantastic news.
Carry on.
Who here runs a custom center link with intentional bends in them to clear obstacles underneath?
If the link is fabricated to have a few bends in it to clear stuff and has the correct length and OD of the original, will it work?
This question is pertaining to my last about distance from the oil pan floor, so if the oil pump pick up is too close to the oil pan sump floor, can it suck it up to a certain degree?
I ask this because both my old pick up and new one supplied with the deep sump 7 quart pan are hanging a 1/2...
A 1965 Dodge Coronet. Does anyone have a recollection of what tool they used to remove the drag link from the idler arm while still mounted on the car? Any tricks or perhaps a pitch fork?
I haven't done this in ages and just plain forgotten.
By chance, does anyone using this Center link/drag link know where it is manufactured?
It is a dropped version made to clear deep oil pans.
It is sold by both Mancini part#MRE 1858015 and 440 Source part#2001175
