I have 68 hemi, but have '67 carb set. Rear carb is 4343S, choke housing is missing. I'd rather buy a 1968 choke housing, but not sure if it will fit and operate correctly in 1967 rear carb (4343S).
Do I need the 66/67 choke housing, or will 68/69 choke housing physically bolt up and operate...
Hoping to find a good used brake light switch bracket. it's for a 4 speed car if that makes a difference, I don't know what mine is supposed to look like, it's missing! =(

Installing the factory cast iron exhaust manifolds on my 426 hemi crate motor. On one end there are two bolt holes that appear to go into the head where a head-bolt goes thru the head. The hole is "open" to the atmosphere. Should I plug it with a stud? The manifold bolt goes into one of the...
I have factory non-rally tach in 1968 GTX, trying to figure out the wiring. Believe that Dark Blue wire connects to the terminal on the left (12V power from the fuse box?), and the other stud on the right (with the black plastic cover threaded on) receives the Grey wire for the tach signal...
Looks like I let my car sit too long, and now the clutch disk is **firmly** stuck to the flywheel. Just installed the new driveline and manually bumping the car with the clutch in and trans in 2nd gear isn't breaking it loose, maybe even to the point of turning the engine over instead of...
I'm working on piecing my '68 GTX (non-ralley dash) together, and I bought my car in a million pieces 43 years ago, so I don't have a pattern to follow and I personally didn't take it apart.
I have two of these in my pile of parts, not sure what they are. Heck, they might even be *ord parts...
Trying to figure out which is the correct wiper motor for my 1968 GTX. Car is original hemi car RS23J, and I can't see anything on the fender tag showing a 3-speed wiper option. Car was a basket case when I hauled it home 43 years ago, and so I didn't have much to go on and nothing in the...
I'm piecing together my 68 GTX, 4-speed car, and need the 3-piece set of support rods that stiffen the pedal assembly to the dash frame. Basically 3 rods with flattened ends and holes to mount to the pedal assembly.
Does anyone know where I can find a set?
Is the 4-speed set unique, or is...
This is mine.

I have a crate hemi in my 68 hemi GTX. Of course it has an electronic distributor. I need to buy an engine wiring harness to get this bugger fired up, although I'd like to maintain the original look of voltage regulator, ballast resistor, etc. from the original without resorting to the dual...
I'm in Baltimore/Frederick MD area, need to ship a motor to Washington State. About a pallet sized, 800 lbs...what's the best place to look for motor freight rates or other good shipping ideas? it's in the factory crate, and I can drop it off at the terminal and have it delivered to a business...
Looking for 426 hemi engine for 68 GTX restoration. Stock appearing, iron block, pump gas. Prefer MP 426 crate motor or similar, will consider bare block, short block, or long block.
what is the purpose of the raised thin stamped steel piece tacked on the inside of the front drum backing plate?
I assume it's some sort of grease cup that catches excess grease that oozes from the inner wheel bearing seal?? When I re-assemble it am I supposed to pack in grease, a foam seal...
I'm looking for a pair of upper control arm spacers/sleeves/rings used on the B- and E-bodies from mid-60's to early-70's. These are installed on the rear bushing in some cars.
Mancini has them on their web site, but they've been out of stock for a long time...
I have a non-numbers matching original 1968 Hemi GTX I'm putting back together. I have two '68 blocks in various stages of needing welding/crack/window repair, a few sets of original heads, used rods, pistons, original intake with carbs, exhaust, etc. I need re-pop oil pan and pump...
Building a Dana 60 for my 1968 GTX, just can't seem to find a decent factory unit for a reasonable amount, so I guess I'm off to assemble an industrial axle...
Where do I locate the 7/16-20 hole just to the left of the pumpkin for the axle vent screw? I've been looking for some photos, and I...
I am restoring my 1968 Hemi GTX rear end and leaf springs. The car has been sitting since the 80's on the same springs--are they sprung? Do I need a new set? How do I tell? The car was drag raced in the 70's. I see that places like Summit offer new springs (extra leaf on one side) per...
Help, I went to install my rear window, and when I installed my reveal clips (20 each), I was 1 short. My car came from the factory with 21 clips!!!
Does anyone have a single clip (with or without screw) to spare?
or, does anyone know of a vendor that sells single clips? I checked...
I have a 1968 GTX with black and gold interior.
Anybody know the paint code (or a close match) for factory interior door and garnish panels? Mine are black, shiny, but I wouldn't call it high gloss. I'm not talking the black suede, these are shinier than that. This is for restoration, so...
