Does anyone know the best product to use on the shackle bushings to increase free movement? I was thinking about using petroleum jelly/Vaseline to help free movement and hinder binding. Is this a good idea or not? Is there a particular torque spec for the installation of rear shackles?

Can someone educate me on the placement of the slider? Can these be used on a street car? I was thinking the front most part of the slider must be in align with the original shackle hole in the frame rail. Does this sound correct?
