a good 5 or 6 attempts - each let's say 5 seconds.
I removed the electric pump - it's now a new mechanical pump on the engine.
I've just been reading all the other comments - the fuel line should be fine as it's relatively new. I'll get it double checked and if nothing install a new electric pump.
Hi I have a Super Bee 1970 - 383 - with new tanked placed by previous owner. It had an electric fuel pump. I got the pump removed (was very noisy) and replaced by a mechanical one on the engine (and new inline filter). Initially OK. But when I leave the car for a few days the fuel has flowed...
Hi,
I seem to have a strange issue and can't see immediately what is wrong. I have a SuperBee 1970 automatic with new wiring (M&H from yearone). Part was installed by previous owner (dash) - the rest I changed.
Issue 1:
Front lights do not work at all (I checked 1 bulb and it is fine). When...

electric choke
I was installed by the previous owner just before selling it - rarely used. I replaced it with a smaller model when I got the car.
It's in Belgium though :-). PM me if your interested with an offer. Shipping at cost price.
Removed the instrument panel and tested the AMmeter prongs & ground before removing the nuts. It seemed on of the prongs was touching the housing. The insulator on the inside was broken around the edges. Decided to remove all the gauges and clean the lot while I'm at it.
It coupled the AMwires...
Hi the harness if for B-Body multiple models - so has some wires you don't need.
Had to look for a while but I found this link months ago that shows all the wires and uses. You should also get the color wiring prints from classicarwiring (on eBay) - they are super and helped me several times...
Thanks - I guess I needed those Saturday :-)
As a temporary solution (until I have the $ to replace the fuel, tictoc and speedo and restore the whole panel with Volt meter), after checking the rest of the cabling is still fine after the short and replacing the burnt fusible 16 AWG link, I was...
Bummer - fairly sure that could be it. The spacers where fairly bristle - probably when tightening they broke/cracked and caused the sort. I'll dismantle the instrument panel next WE again and hopefully nothing else got damaged :icon_pray:
Hi, I just had a great day changing all the rear wiring of my 1970 SuperBee and getting everything working first time. And then it went downhill :sad11: - I thought i'd also clean the gauges as only the amp meter was working sort of. Removed instrument cluster with great difficulty. Cleaned out...
Hi, i finally decided to order from YearOne. i got a very good deal for the engine, front and backlights harness. They're the M&h ones. installation is super simple. Glad i did replace as while removing the old one i came across 3 or 4 'hidden' wiring issues that could easily have caused major...
Hi I'm trying to remove the instrument cluster from my 1970 Super Bee. I disconnected the battery, speedo cable, unscrewed the screws visible at the front and loosened the cabling under the dash.
Do I need to disconnect the cables (possible but difficult) connected at the back?
Can I...
Hi,
I cleaned the connectors, replaced the fusible link (was looking very dodgy indeed) and all is well again. AMP meter is OK and still working. I ordered new engine harness as some other connections from the previous owner look a bit worn.
I did some checking this weekend. The fusible link seems a bit dodgy - the wire was too short and stretched. The contact in the bulkhead seems to have melted in the past so not sure what contact quality there was. I've ordered new Fusible link wire and will rewire that part + do some more...
Hi
after re installing the battery I wanted to start the bee, but strangely only the starter motor seems to work. Nothing else has power. I didn't have enough time to dig deeper, but I was hoping it was a simple defect. Anything obvious I'm missing?
(most electrical and under the hood is stock)

Thanks for all the tips. Have contacted RON to see what best match they have. Alternatively I have the correct numbers for M/H via YearOne. Still debating if I want to keep it as original as possible or go for safe...

Hi,
I'm looking into replacing the complete wiring of my Bee. I've found huge differences in wiring harness packs. Anybody have experience in a good system? I'd rather pay a bit more but have a decent kit.
So far I have found:
