My 1962 Sport Fury has a V code (1964) 413 in it with next step down from max wedge heads, high performance cam, Weiand high rise and 2 600 cfm Edelbrock carbs (both are 1406s). Car runs great with a new Summit CDI ignition setup. I realize the carbs really need to be 500 cfm. My issue is an...
I really feel like a fool asking a question that is so open-ended, but here goes: I have a 1962 Sport Fury with a V code 413 (V code means it's a 1964 engine). It has a mild build with what sounds like a purple hydraulic cam; heads that are one step down from max wedge, with dual valve springs...
I'm looking for a park cable housing for my A727 Torqueflite pushbutton trans. Mine has pinholes and hairline cracks. If anybody has one they're parting out, I would appreciate a call. Dan Wilson (205)907-220

Pushbutton Torqueflite A727 in my 1962 Sport Fury will not shift 2-3 at all; also inconsistent on 1-2 shifts. Checked fluid level and Lokar throttle linkage; both are correct. I recently put a B&M deep pan on it and adjusted the bands in the meantime. Engine is a V code 413 (1964) with Weiand...
I bought an Eaton locker already installed in a Mopar carrier. I'm planning on installing my existing ring gear on the new carrier and then just worrying about the lash (since I'm not touching the pinion depth). From what I know, there will be no need to verify the gear mesh pattern, etc. Can...
My 1962 Sport Fury Nostalgia Drag Car/Pro Street has what apparently is a 1968 or 1969 Roadrunner power front disc conversion. Brakes worked fine except back of master cylinder leaked like a son of a gun on the carpet. Traced the mc casting number, etc and found a matching mc at a local auto...
Does antbody have a NAPA part number or similar for the o ring where the shift cable goes into the transmission? My transmission is a 1964 727 behind a 413 RB block. $9.00 + shipping seems a little steep for one o ring. (Blaise, on eBay)
Thanks,
