My 69 coronet 318/904 combo runs well, but the trans leaks
I have had it rebuilt twice
The second shop had it 4 times last year
It would not leak for a few days
I would drive it and park it, and it would be dry for a few days but tge leak woukd always...
I smelled gas in my garage today
My coronet gas vent was allowing gas out and there was a puddle on the ground
I think I have it routed wrong....the gas was coming out a drain hole in the frame rail
I think i have 2 grommets mixed up
I think it should be in the other hole (see pic) [ATTACH=full
Replaced the fuel line from the metal stub off the fuel pump to the needle valve
New filter too.
The car started and ran
I did not notice any debris in the needle valve like before, but could see some deterioration of the older rubber hose
I am now changing the oil and will let you know how it...

I thought I got it cleared, but it’s doing it again
I found a large piece of hose in the needle valve, but apparently it’s got something else stuck in there
Will replace the hose and advise
Why should I change the oil?

Tried driving my 69 Coronet today
It wouldn’t start
There was gas seeping out from the base of the carb and throttle linkages
I was befuddled
I removed the needle valve and sure enough, there was a piece of fuel hose in there
I cleared it and reattached the fuel line.
It still won’t start

My heat riser was rebuilt when I restored my car
Thru miles of driving, it appears the bi-metal spring has come loose from the counterweight
I got under the car and reseated the spring into the slot on the counter weight
I checked the operation and everything seemed in order

I checked out the website, and found the switch test procedure....I got out the multimeter, and the switch checks out.
I also checked power at the bulkhead in all 3 switch positions....12 volts
looking forward to getting my wiper motor back and reinstalling it....hopefully, everything will now...
I packaged it up and sent it to Bill.
The motor was working in one speed earlier this am.
When I got it out of the car, the motor seemed to be seized up....and when I removed the outside cover, some springs, and other stuff fell out
With a seized up motor, is it possible to burn out the dash...
I have a 69 Coronet with the 3 speed wipers.
Wiring was redone and correct.
Wiper motor redone by Passion for Mopars
I could not get the wiper to work on 3 speeds, so I performed the bench test procedure.
The Motor made a funny noise when hooking the brown wire up, but barely moved.

just wondering if a vintage car, such as a 1969 Satellite, value decreases if the fender tag is missing?
I figured it took at lease a few thousand $$ off the price a car could bring.

I have a 69 Coronet with a 318 2bbl
I just ripped out the igniter 2 conversion and put the points back in
I adjusted the timing and now the engine runs well.....no pinging, and it starts right up
My issue is that I have a new ballast resistor in the ignition circuit, but I still measure...
Update
I checked the cable with a power drill....
Cable turns smoothly
I reseated the cable on the back of the speedometer....
That seemed to fix it.....test drive showed it working properly

When my son parked the car, the speedo showed 40 mph
I tapped the cable under the dash and it dropped to zero

I figured it had to do with the speedo gear in the tranny, since the speedometer has never had issues, and I had this recently worked on
Could the cable need lubrication?

Just had a different speedometer drive gear installed in my 904 3 speed
The speedometer still indicated fast, but worked
Today I took it out and below 30 mph, it worked as before but at higher speeds the speedometer jumped up to 100-120
Now that's all it does.....either zoro when...
