    Head Scratcher ...need help

Re-posting in general tech threads hoping to get a bit more exposure. I'm the first to admit that my mechanical knowledge is slim at best, but I've run into a situation that REALLY has me scratching my head. I'm in Colorado Springs and have been having trouble with my timing. I know that...

To bumperette or to not bumperette, that is the question

All a matter of personal preference, but I like 'em on. When it comes right down to it, it doesn't matter what others like...it's all about what you prefer. Enjoy.

    Head Scratching Problem - Suggestions?

I'm the first to admit that my mechanical knowledge is slim at best, but I've run into a situation that REALLY has me scratching my head. I'm in Colorado Springs and have been having trouble with my timing. I know that altitude plays a part in the issue and I've had the carb re-jetted for...

73/74 bumper fillers home made reproductions, someone interested ?

I've got a guy here in Colorado Springs that will make you a rear bumper filler center piece. He made one for my 74 RR and it turned out pretty damn good! It wasn't cheap ($200), but after searching and searching with no luck whatsoever, I was finally able to find someone here in town that fit...

    Replacing 74 RR Dashboard Emblem

Thanks very much for the help. I was able to get the emblem out by removing the glove box liner. A bit of a pain, but not too onerous. Unfortunately, the keepers that slide over the emblem pins were beyond repair and I was unable to find any of the right size at the local parts department. A...

    Replacing 74 RR Dashboard Emblem

Here's hoping someone can give this "mechanically challenged" RR owner. At some time in the past, a previous owner of the 74 RR I own either broke or removed part of the Roadrunner dashboard emblem. I managed to get a new emblem complete with the little roadrunner head, but for the life of me...

WTB- Rear Bumper Center Filler Strip

Looks like I'm not the only one looking. These things are as rare as hen's teeth apparently! I desperately need the rear center bumper filler strip for my 74 RR. If anyone has one for sale or has a SOLID lead on where to get one, I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

    Raising the Rear

You shouldn't have a problem putting 275s under your Runner...My 74 RR has 275/60/15s on the back and 235/60/15s on the front. All tires are wearing American Racing 15 x 8 rims. Personally I'm not a big fan of step shackles, but it's all a matter of personal preference. I had the leaf springs...

Advice for Increasing Horsepower - 318

I'm not really sure if the headers made a huge difference in horsepower, but it sure sounds great!! I'm sure once I get the intake, carb, etc on it, the difference should be noticeable. - - - Updated - - - Rusty, if only I had the disposal coin at hand, I'd be quick to jump on that rebuilt...
