Had a bad experience with Kim also. Did get my parts 6 mos. after they were supposed to be done. The work was great but after having to hound her to keep the promises she made and still be 6 mos. late I could never send her anymore business. It's too bad but seems to happen to many vendors.
The five speed insert is held in place with 2 sided tape. You may or may not get it out undamaged. Under the insert there will be a stud the bezel fits over and it has a split in it. You can spread the stud a bit with a standard screwdriver and it should tighten the bezel up.

I love the title to this thread. Going to have to get some "Cougar Plasma Balls" for my car, just wonder how dangerous collecting them in the wild is.
Remember you can grind off the back of the rivet to avoid damage you may encounter drilling it out. Save the top portion for the rivet and glue the tag/rivet tops back in place. Just a thought.

Just put it in this winter, fit was good for the tank,sender,filler grommet, and fuel lines. Got mine from Tom's Classics off Ebay, it was for a N95 Calif. emissions equipped 1970 Charger.
