Sorry, forgot to add you can leave the trans as is, but it is not rated to that HP level. You can also swap it out for a Magnum or have Emco gears installed (2k HP rated). There are Gen I Vipers making 2k HP on factory transmissions that have been running for years.
Thanks! The engine is totally complete. The hot and cold side have been built up to the exhaust. Some plumbing has to be done (piping to the water tank and heat exchangers, cooling lines to turbos). This is a stand-alone package normally used in the Viper configuration. It reliably puts out...
Body:
New quarters, left door, good fenders.
The grill was beautifully restored in flat black with BMW halo LED lights after media blasting. You will need an electric door actuator.
The windshield was modified for flush mounting. The original frame edge was replaced with a custom made...
Interior:
This was designed as a race interior. There is no dash, no interior finish, it’s all raw steel. Steering column, Omega digital dash, Recaro seats are included. You’ll need side and rear glass, a dash built, and some switches for power windows and A/C installed. I have the Resto-Mod air...
Roll cage:
The roll cage is fully integrated front to rear. The rear cross brace was modified from it’s original configuration and I would re-do it back to the original design with straight bars. The tubing to the rear chassis needs to be redone as it was removed to fabricate the rear bulkhead...
Chassis:
Full AME frame with Corvette C6 underpinnings. Woodward Rack. ZR1 hubs. Rear is a Dana 60 with 3.54 gears. The rear is a Strange engineering IRS designed off the modern Camaro. Wilwood brakes as described above.
Here’s the frame as delivered.
The IRS.

Wilwood...
Turbos, hot and cold:
The headers are custom tig/purge welded SS units.
Collector.
Fitment.
Taking a smoking break.
The CompTurbo 66/67 units sit in the well behind the front wheel. These are oil-less, and can go in any orientation.
Cold air intake goes up and over the front...

I am selling a deep dive project. This is not for the faint of heart, but if you have access to a shop and can do quality fabrication, this can be an award winning car. You hear the term “no expense spared” a lot, but just read on.
1969 Charger with ‘68 grille, BMW halo headlamps, ‘68 style...
Thanks for asking, that post was over a year old. I have sold off the major components I am not using (front and rear, brakes, and Viper truck engine). I have replaced the roll cage and am building a twin turbo Viper powered car off the same chasis.
The 70's have been around, the 69's were really 70's with the backup lights not cut out.
I will do the LED's from Digitails, have them already. But they aren't part of a set or anything.
I apologize, I haven't installed these to give a proper review, but since these are new someone may be interested in using them and it'll be a long time before my car is showing the tail lights to the Chebby guys :)
These arrived double boxed, individually wrapped in plastic, each in a foam...
SpeedFreak, you did a great job with what you started with! I was lucky in that most of my fins were in good shape, just the outer plastic edges busted up and the metal rusted to hell (but that's easy with media blasting).
WarHorse, there is literally nothing original on my car, or unmodded...
I've posted this on other forums, and it's really a restomod, so I hope you will forgive my posting it here. I know the site is mostly collectables but there are some details here you might appreciate. While most of the detail is applicable to Chargers, there are some new approaches I took to...
This place has run amok with Viper builds!
Not to hijack your thread, which is awesome, but since some people have expressed interest in doing the same I still have my Gen III Viper truck motor for sale.
