Took the Big Owl Lubricants Imperial out to Galot Motorsports Park last night. David Gore of Gore Motorsports was driving it tonight. Car ran well and consistent. Best pass was a 7.83 which is the best it’s run since I’ve owned the car. We are planning to enter the car at the Rockingham Mopar...
Front engine or sling shot dragster many call them. This is the second one I’ve bought in the last 18 months. Sold the first one to a friend that has a nice collection of Hemi cars. This one is much more complete & in better shape. I’ve already received offers on this one, but for now I’m going...
And once again another hard to find Mopar part that you seldom see come up for sale. Here at Bobs Classic Cars & Parts we find this vintage stuff. This is a heater control for a DeSoto. I believe the car was a 1953. It had the 291 or whatever small V8 Hemi engine. This is not an air unit. Let me...
Definitely needs restoration or use it for wall art. Has cracks in the rim & hub. The chrome/brite work has pits. Horn button is included. $100 plus shipping from Youngsville, NC
With a 22 thousand reserve that was lifted the car sold for $13 thousand. I did not bid. I thought it would bring more & I figured the reserve was above 20
Off marketplace for $65 bucks. Plays good & sounds good. A little neck vibrating on the A string which my Rogue does the same thing. It has a harder deeper sound than the Rogue as well which I like. Not sure if I should call it Susanna for Susanna Hoffs of the Bangles or Addicted for the Robert...
I was allowed entrance into the building of this private collection today. Helps to know people right. This car is going to be auctioned off in a couple weeks at a local classic car auction. 1975 Dodge Charger Daytona 360. 29 thousand original miles. Some surface rust showing in several areas...
Steering wheel from a 71/72 Dodge Charger. It will fit many years of B & C body Mopars. It needs a full restoration as it has cracks. Great inexpensive piece to practice on if you want to try to it yourself. $40 plus shipping from Youngsville, NC 27596
1971-72 Dodge Charger drivers side door. This will not fit the 73/74 as the roof pillar is different. As you can see it’s in very good shape. Lite surface rust in a few areas. A few chips. Very good quality door to further along your project. Glass & window mechanism is included. These are not...
69/70 Plymouth Satellite, Road Runner , GTX & Dodge Coronet & Super Bee doors. These are for a two door hard top. The 68 has the door lock in a different place so yest they will work on a 68 but won’t be factory correct. Glass is in the doors & rolls up. Very nice doors. A couple little small...
I purchased this 2019 steel deck trailer just to haul the Imperial on. We also did another test & tune & the car had a best 60 foot of 1.59 & two back to back sub 8 second passes & we haven’t yet turned the wick all the way up
Three speed automatic transmission removed from a 59 Chrysler with the 383 RB big block Golden Lion engine. This was a push button car. I do not know the working condition. Looks to be complete. There is wear through spots on the cable housings. What you see in the pics is what you get. Possible...
Vintage Chrysler power steering pump. This came off a 1959 Chrysler big block car. Likely fits several years & models of Chrysler Dodge & Plymouth cars. Turns free & spit out fluid. That’s about all I know. I’d put a seal kit in it. $100 cash pick up at my shop in Youngsville, NC 27596 just...
Vintage Chrysler starter. This came off a 1959 Chrysler with the 383 big block engine. Working condition unknown. Selling as a core for rebuilding or parts. Great period correct for Forward Look era fin cars. $50 plus shipping from Youngsville, NC
I put a mystery driver behind the wheel & took it out to KDS in Kinston, NC for a couple test passes. Fought a mid through top end misfire that we’ll have figured out by the next time it goes out. Car had a 1.69 60 foot & got some air under the left front tire. Not bad for a 3900 pound 318 car
Finally got the Imperial out to a TNT. Didn’t get a full pass in. I’m being told it got air though. It felt like it. Fought battery charging issues & shifter issues. Hope to get back out soon.
Testing at KDS in Kinston, NC. I believe this is a new car & one of 3 that this team runs. They represent Mopar in the 252 List series. Street Outlaws kinda thing. Top 10 quickest cars in area code 252. Check it out. Hopefully they can get all 3 cars solidly in next season. Damn tough class...
