I don't have an answer for you but I do have a question for you. The manual calls for a spacer to be used between the seat belts and the floor. Just what is this spacer made of Steel or rubber and what are the dimensions ? Thanks.
Have B&M cable. Tried multable levers nothing works. Last night I was paging through an old mopar mag and found some guys used a Quicksliver shifter and was able to keep everything looking stock. Hate to spend $300. and not have it work. I was hoping some old guy like myself would have a quick...
I have a 64 Sort Fury with a stock shifter and console. Installed is 1972 727 automatic trans. I cannot get the shifter and trans in sync. I tried different transmission levers to no avail. Any body have any ideas that might help me out .
I had the same problem. Took me three years to figure out. All your problems may be with the turn signal switch. Sounds crazy. I got a new turn signal wire harness and all my electrical shorts disappeared. Hope this helps.
Thanks. Makes me wonder why someone would go through the expense of buying a fiberglass bumper and keep the stock heavy bumper brackets. On my 64 Plymouth the bumper brackets are large and heavy with compound angles, but again thanks for the follow up.
Does anyone manufacture Aluminum front bumper brackets for a 64 Plymouth ? I'm trying to make one and its not going so well. In fact I'm dying on this project.
How did you get the doors properly aligned. I working on a 64 Sport Fury and cannot get the doors to close. I tried everything that I could think of short of removing the front fenders to access the hinge front bolts. Any help would be appreciated.
I measured the fender to spring opening on my 64 sport fury and came up with 13.1". If you use a wheel with 4.5 rear spacing that should put the wheel close to center as possible . When choosing a tire, tire width is most important thing to watch. I am looking at getting an American racing wheel...
I've got 64 sport fury with a console factory shifter but I'm using a 68 727 transmission. How do I run the cable from the shifter to the trans. I've got a B&M cable but I'm having troubles . There does not seam to be enough room (engine, starter, headers and trans) to bend the cable...
I have a 64 Sport Fury with factory console shifter and a 68 727 transmission. Are there any easy ways of mating both. I had a cable made up from some company in Frankenmuth Mi. The cable was nine miles long and I had to loop it over the starter just to get hook up with the mounting brkt. Need...
I was looking through a Jegs Catalog and noticed a 275 X 60 x 15 tire (MS-002) had the widest foot print. I took some measurements on my 64 Plymouth, from fender to leaf spring is 13.1 inches. When choosing a tire worry about the tire width. Just remember tire width and tread width are not the...
Need information concerning Mopar stage IV cast iron heads. I've got a set that has been professionally ported, 30 years ago and have never been used. I was thinking of using them with 12.5 compression pistons/E85 fuel. Any suggestions ?
Guy's I need help installing headliner interior molding brackets. I took this car apart over 10 years ago and I can't remember how and where the mounting brackets go to mount the chrome trim. Also where can I have the front bumper rechromed in S.E. Michigan. I'm almost ready to insure and get...
