It is not a A12 car. 383 air grabber, 4spd, bucket seat/console, Hard top, f3 green/black vinyl top. This car also has the rocker trim and the trim at the top of the door and quarter ( bottom of the side windows) now a 440 6bbl because, well, Hemis are just out of reach.
Thanks speedbird, there’s a ton of sentimental value to this car. As far as my wife, she gets frustrated with the lack of progress but would like to see it done. She isn’t a real car person either so she could take it or leave it.
So I’ll go through my story and address some of y’alls questions.here is a pic of the day my dad drove my uncles car home. I was 10 I believe. I’ve been infatuated with this car ever since. I’m 51 now and have two AWESOME grandsons that I can’t get enough of! So, I tore this car down the year I...
Sorry guys I should have been clear, this is NOT an A12 car. I was always dreaming of a hemi or 6bbl and the hemi’s are too far out of reach so went this route

Sorry fellas, I havent been on the site for awhile, been crazy busy. Wish I could say busy working on the hot rod but it is what it is. Hoping to meet some of you fellers at Carlisle this year.
Thank you guys for your input. I have emailed mancini but did not receive a reply yet. I will trim a little off the spacers and get this hot rod on the right path! You guys are appreciated more than you know!
I am running mancini hold downs, shafts and their roller (tip) rockers. There’s no way I have .015” clearance. I would say I have to put 2-3# pressure on them to make them move. Please be patient with me, this is my first performance build and I think I’ve ran into every problem possible so far
Hey guys, I’m installing manicini/sharp roller rockers and without the pushrods installed they seem tight to me. Anyone else see this? Is it normal and if not what’s the remedy? Thanks in advance
