I'm in need of some fenders for my 66 charger. 66/67 charger and coronet fenders will work. Something within decent range of Columbia, SC. I realize I may have to drive a bit but if I do I'm not paying no $300 a fender when I could purchase brand new from Jegs for around the same price after...
Put a 440 in my 66 that had a 318 working on adding a power steering pump, brackets, hoses etc... But when I look at my gear box I'm a little confused. Never even looked at it before. Is this car an original power steering vehicle or manual or ? I'm lost on the big split port on top of the gear...
After a 3 month build and nearly 3 months of wiring, running a new return style fuel system, brake system etc. The 440 is being buttoned up with a new MSD ignition system consisting of pro billet dizzy, 6AL2, wires, ss coil, etc... Ready for break in this weekend. And don't worry I'll be...
why e85? and why no intercooler? What kind of numbers are you making? forged bottom end? internal external balanced? oh the questions I have for this build. Was showing it to a buddy of mine telling him when I break my 440 on nitrous this will probably be my next build. You just take the stock...
I was wondering how you did that when I found your picture on google. I'm very confused at the logics of turbocharger but god knows that's the way you wanta go if you wanta make hp in this modern day of racing. I've got a 10:1 built 440 on nitrous but always thought about going turbo. Wheres a...
Thanks guys think I'm gonna dent the hedmans and if not go with schumachers but I'm sure these will work for now since i have the rest of the exhaust mocked up for these headers right now. Bench tested the starter and works fine. I'll get the clearance I need one way or another but for now its...
It's ok summit recommended a powermaster clockable starter of course it's 300 dollars but if I can turn it to get some clearance so be it. Still going to take the header off and give it a spanking just to see, i already own them now, they won't take them back since I've had them over 6 months...
do you have the part number?

Just spoke with summit about everything and they think that using a clockable mini would be best. That and slightly modifying the trouble area tube if the problem still persists after the new mini install. Might consider trying that but until...
what headers and starter did you go with if you can remember getx'd? and are the mini's and headers any different on the hemi's or are you just rubbing it in? lol This is the most frustrating things ever.

Here is a good comparison between dougs headers (left) and hedman...
I'm seriously lost and ready to give up on this build. Got a build 440 higher 70's rb block going into a 66 charger. I've tried two different sets of headers and I'm still confused for every reason, first set of headers were center collectors and hit the gearbox, this set of headers (hedman's)...
Had to toss the adapter before I could even install it so that's not the issue still waiting on a new power wire to show up and then well see. If not its gotta be the starter. I think I'm also gonna move the engine to frame ground to the starter bolt and see if that helps, have it on the back of...
I ordered a new 2 gauge wire and ring terminals yesterday we'll see how that goes. I don't remember what my clearances were but I know they were by the book. Keep in mind it turned over first try when I put the motor in and hooked everything up. At this point it has to be the wire or the...
So I've started the car twice now since putting in the new motor, changed the fuel system to a return style and worked out those kinks but now its like I don't have enough power to turn the motor over fast enough to run. Cleaned and checked all grounds (body to engine, engine to frame, battery...
Figured it out bottom inlet side to supply carb and front is return the issue was the floats being to high but of course you figure one problem out and it leads to another.thanks for all the help though guys.
I have the regulator set all the way out to about 2 psi, the regulator is a return style inline regulator and the carb is brand new. Not sure how or what I could do about the spring. Im just ready to get her running but I keep going back to steps to gain knowledge not even one step ahead...
Update. with regulator screw turned all the way out for minimal pressure I made the side port inlet, other side port supply to carb and bottom the return and I got fuel pressure readings on the gauge but still overflowing through the two ports out the top of the carb (pic 1), changed up the...
I have my return line coming in the top part of the fuel cell. The only thing I think of is that the two side ports are inlets, front being to carb and bottom to return. That's the only thing I haven't tried yet but I sure will this afternoon. Thanks for the input guys, this is my first fresh...
