hi,
Anyone have any reccommendations for a 2piece timing cover for a RB?
Thinking of this cover from cvr, but not shure if it will clear a stock water pump:

I'm thinking about making a sheet metal intake for my 440. To get the runners to the tuned length I need, there is not much clearance left under the hood. What would you guys think is the absolute minimum acceptable carb to hood clearance on a six pack hood?

Another wheel and tire thread...
Want to get me some bigger wheels and tires to get a better stance on my bee.
Been thinking of 275/60-15 on 8" 4,5bs and 235/60-15 on 7".
Will this fit without rubbing?
Anyone have a better suggestion?
Feel free to post any pics.

the new stroker I was supposed to put in the car was delayed from the machine shop so i "trew" the old block back in with some parts i had laying around, to be able to use the car in our wedding.

camshaft...

Thanks

Hi,
My order for the Comp cams Sportsman lifters have been on backorder since November. New date is February which is too late if I'm going to finish the build in time.
In my mind a bushed bearing lifter is the best choice on the street, but I need to see what my options are.
One option...
Hi,
Got to make up my mind on what cam to go for with the new motor.
Thinking of going for a .660 solid roller. Any thoughts about how long the springs and cam would last on the street?
The car would see about 500 miles at the street a year.

Hi,
need a little advice here on what direction to go.
The original 440 six pack has taken a beating, with a bad combination of going too rich with a loose distributor - getting serious exhaust tempratures.
I was planning to build me a 505 stroker, stock appearing on another block, but when...
