Is anyone running or know if a 295 50 tire on a 10" (5" bs) rim will fit on a GTX? I know a member who's running a 295 on an 8" (4.5" BS) rim.
I need to go with Magnum 500 15's and they only come in 8 or 10". The 8's are a little too narrow imo

The headers I have in my '71 GTX 440 are hitting the power steering pump on one side and the torsion bar on another. The muffler shop guy tells me he's worried if he heats them up and dents them they will break through.
What do you guys think about losing the headers and going back to stock...

E86 - I know thats a 440-4
But its a "U code" whatever that means? Does it just mean E86?
and it has the N31 option (optional compression ratio)
So is it just a standard 370hp 440 or something else?
