    GLASS HOOD AND SCOOP

I bought a 68 s/s hood for my dart 35 years ago. It's pretty beat up now of course but the hood to scoop area is still decent. And it's a race hood from unlimited. I also bought a max scoop for my belvedere all those years ago and it's always seemed a bit small to me. For myself if I could find...

Brake system issues remain - next steps??

Functionally there is no difference that I know of. And the cylinders pictured will work on a disc brake car. The size of the reservoirs being the difference. Disc need the larger reservoirs as the pads wear.

Brake system issues remain - next steps??

Residual pressure valves? Self adjusters lubed up and working properly and evenly. Parking brakes hanging up somehow. Shoes arced in? Just thinking out loud.

    65 4speed speedometer cable / Gears

There is a seal inside the gear. If it's not in correctly that could prevent it from seating all the way down. Here is mine.

That is of course the timing tab for #1 cylinder.

    Timing chain cover timing indicator

Simple. Done this more than a few times. Get a piece of fairly stiff wire. About the diameter of a clothes hanger wire. Back off a timing cover bolt, wrap that wire around it. Maybe 320° around. Bend that wire, keeping it tight against the cover. Nice 90° bend when you get to the damper. Keep...

Pure oxygen pump that pumps from a oxygen tank to thr supercharger

In theory the axial flow supercharger like the Latham would be way more efficient than even the best turbo.

Pure oxygen pump that pumps from a oxygen tank to thr supercharger

Believe it or not but a 5 lb bottle of nitrous has more oxygen than the same bottle of pure oxygen. Why? The nitrous being in a liquid form is much more dense than the gaseous pure oxygen. And liquid oxygen well that's a whole nother ball game.

Balancing blue printed engines are the next gen engine builder advertisement

I have balanced a few motors. Start to finish. Most all aftermarket pistons and rods weigh in very good. And it's very dicey to remove weight from either. Only factory rods have balance pads. Weighing for Bob weights also included 2 grams for oil. Final balance was never more than 4 grams out...
