Ok let me see if I can find a small piece of steel - seems a horrible design - why didn’t they just put tabs on plastic console for posts to go threw and tighten nuts - it was 1965 I know
I am trying to finish console install and it seems I didn’t get or lost the small front panel (4 speed cutout) hold down bracket
No one seems to sell them ??? Ideas ???
Small metal plate that the two posts go thru and bolt to front top plate - that has the shifter square in.
I bought it a year ago and just got to it and it’s not in the box
Cause there is no notch’s like the hood for Plymouth logo - sooo the pins don’t even go thru so they are actually hidden - makes sense - I just wanted masters to confirm - thanks
The Emblem shown here comes with Pin Holders - do they go on the outside and push into the holes - ORRRR do u push emblem thru holes and push Holders on Pins with needle nose ??
Also anyone know the drill for the holes - I must have a non GTX trunk lid on mine now holes - yes I could get 1972...
1970 GTX I am in the last lap of finishing this thing, the door window on the back edge they have a chrome strip that lays on the quarter glass when rolled up. There is a foam trim that goes in here...I got them...frieghtfully expensive.
? One side is solid the other side has a cut the length...

Buttt
The car sounds like a bucket of bolts, because who ever took the window frames out in the doors for paint, put them back and never put the hardware on the bottom ???
Does anyone have a diagram of how they secure...
Guys I have my 1970 GTX 440 6pack pretty close after 2 years. It runs really good, I cant advance it too much or it will ping. 7-8 degrees
4 speed runs great, but nit picking.....it runs a little flat under 2k RPMs. Im constantly up shiffting to get the revs up around town and country roads...
You know I was gonna restore a 340 Duster....but Im gonna buy an electric car now so I guess that's why they stopped producing.
Are you guys insane ? really - the two couldn't be farther on the map of reality than you could get....collector hobby car I drive 10 times a year ...or a electric car...
