Just wondering if that white wire was put in because the fusible link wire burned. I had that happen on our 70 Superbee, it wouldn't start and I found the ignition switch came apart and shorted inside on the steering column. I don't rhino the Chargers switch is in the column but the wiring...

    Green Go here we go!

Looks GREAT! Getting closer all the time. Noticed on the rear there is black on the rear finish panel that goes around the taillights and a little between them, it must be worn off from time on mine...might have to do that it really finished the look well.

    Super Bee more insurance

I agree, insure it for more. We have a 70 Superbee hasn't been restored but a really nice car. Kept the original engine/trans and then built a stroker motor for it. We have it insured for 50K. Not sure if it could be replaced for that today

has anyone used 'CarID' to order wheels and tires

I have used them through the shop for rims for newer cars when customers have bounced them off curbs in the winter. I have had good results with no problems. Haven't ordered tires though. I usually go through their website not ebay.

What Carb should I put on 440 going in 70 Coronet?

I have a 1970 Superbee. The original engine has a Holley on it that I was told was the original one. It's covered up in the barn but if you really need more I can get to it and get numbers. It came with a 440 source 496 stroker engine that had an Edlebrock on it, took it off for a 850 Quick...
