Thank you! I'm still working the bugs out. Recently moved so it's been on the back burner collecting dust unfortunately. Okay cool! Yeah I'll check it out.

Don't be fooled by aftermarket cooling systems

Usually it is an irrational action but no one knows exactly what's in the short block. Not even the guy that built the car. That's a huge red flag on any engine that the owner is wanting to push it to its limits. I planned on doing a compression test before like suggested above but as of recent...

Thank you! Yes, I agree! I've been reading through this forum like crazy. It has a lot of very thorough information.

Thank you! I honestly avoided saying anything about my car out of respect of the forum. But since I was directly asked he's the most current pic I have, except the battery is now in the trunk to make room for a water/meth kit and a slimmer electric fan. So I could dump the 70mm turbo and go to...

    383 w/ Edelbrock h/c/I package

Thanks to everyone! From what I've been reading, you're right. 300hp to the wheels didn't seem bad. Plus he has gear vendors for his over drive. I just got off the phone with him and told him his car is up to parr with what it has done to it. He got pissed and is claiming it should have...

This is the car. The guy that wrote the article is the guy that built it. Red Dirt Hot Rod - 1969 Plymouth Road Runner http://knowhow.napaonline.com/red-dirt-hot-rod-supercharged-1969-plymouth-road-runner/ It was in SEMA at one point but has never ran right. With fluids leaking out of every...

    383 w/ Edelbrock h/c/I package

Yeah definitely that equation is the best bet if you have all the info on the engine. As of right now, my best guess is it's a Edelbrock top end kit on a stock short block.

Don't be fooled by aftermarket cooling systems

That was my first thought that the block had been bored out too much. After being on the dyno and it still over heating. Which triggered me to question him on the short block specs. He swears its only 30 over but when I called the guy that originally built the car. He said he never took the...

Haha thanks! I'm not going to lie he has irratated me on more than one occasion. Lol But regardless of brand, he is ate up with the car addiction like the rest of us. Which I have respect for any one that's crazy enough to be into this expensive hobby. Well, except for the cambered import guys...

    383 w/ Edelbrock h/c/I package

Yeah I'd like to hear closer to 10-10.5c/r. That's what he's claiming it is. What is the stock compression for the 383 B long block? Honestly, his short block is a little questionable. He claims forged internals. The guy that originally built the car claims the short block was a stock rering...
