I absolutely won't endorse the hf version of the pump. I've gone thru several. I do have one that has outlasted all the hf ones, but I'm away from it, and don't remember the brand. The new hf one in the box is used for illustration. I haven't needed it here yet.
That tank one that you show...
I think he's asking if the ET S/Ses are substantially better than the ET-R's, as a purely street tire.
My answer would be: marginally, with the very slightly more open tread, but considering how long those extra grooves will last on a regularly driven street car.......probably not.
I have exclusive oceanfront property here in Arizona for you. 3500 sq/ft two story home, newly built. But I have many potential buyers, but I like you and want you to have it. Send me $50,000 down payment and we'll lock you in, and arrange financing later thru your bank.
What is your account...
But see, you gave your 22 every chance to succeed! A shroud, a big clutch fan, and a great water pump. And a thousand dollar radiator.
OP needs a shroud, can't find one for his aftermarket radiator. I'd find a bigger radiator that he CAN get a shroud for.
My opinion only!
You haven't got enough radiator. I wouldn't put a 22 in front of any big block.
I have a 28" big block cordoba high efficiency in my 440 savoy,(with the modified cordoba shroud) and a 19x31 big block dually radiator in my Opel.
For a hotrod (not an original car) I tend to use...
Yep, dogs are not dumb. Mine seek out shade at all times during the day. We play on the back porch during the day, and out in the yard at night, with the glow balls. We HAVE TO play with the glow balls!
If you weren't so far away..... shipping would cost more than the headers.
Anyway, the headers I have are probably too big for your application. (Prbably too big for 95% of applications, 2 1/4 tube, 4" collector, a set of headers looking for a 572!)
You might wanna look for fenderwell headers to...
That presumes there is a choice of tracks. Some places, in some situations, it's use the track that's available/nearest, or nothing. My place in california has a 1/4 mile track ten minutes away I can't use, an 1/8mi at 110 miles, and a 1/4 at 180. Not a lot of choice left.
If I want to race bad...
62 Savoy.
Using a 28" big block Cordoba high efficiency copper/brass radiator, shroud, flex fan, (horsepower eater, but it moves air), trans cooler inside the shroud, and a 10" electric pusher as a supplement, to cool between rounds, ..... or on a typical hot Arizona desert day.
If I was gonna...
71 car year, out of G assembly plant (St Louis?, I think). Now do a Google search to find out what car line St Louis was building in 71. That's as close to an answer as you are gonna get.
( built A's, B's, and E's. So, out of a B or E, no 383s in a 71 A body)
Get the number of 440 source champions, and a cross-reference for the brand you want from a parts store, or maybe even Google.
Then pick a heat range for your engine combo and driving style.
Well aware.
Usually you see those on cars (40s and 50s) with windshield visors.
I see them most often on lowriders. (They do seem to love their visors!)
A 255/60 would theoretically be about an inch widerin section than your current 235s. Assuming the same wheels, do you have more than a half inch room inside and out? If you do, they should work.
Still might be darn hard to get on and off the car.
