Anyone know about thumbwheel radio repair?

I just found this post today—it’s very helpful. The tuning wheel doesn’t work on my 1969 Coronet AM radio (Bendix 9BBCC) so using your pictures, I took it apart and found that little plastic gear was broken in half and one half was missing. Any idea where I can find a replacement gear? I have...

FOUND 1969 Coronet Deluxe 2-Door Post Trim

Thanks Jeff but unfortunately not. My car has the “WL” trim, which I believe is base of the base trim. Here is a picture of the car with the one piece I have been able to find so far. It’s a pretty narrow—maybe 3/4”—piece of aluminum (I think). Thanks again.

    Pre-bent Fuel Line

Successfully installed the stainless line this weekend. It was a struggle until I undid the exhaust hangers and put the front end of the line through the torsion bar crossmember. Then it basically snapped into place! Thanks again for the tips.

    Pre-bent Fuel Line

I bought a pre-bent fuel line for my 1969 Coronet 2-door post car. It shipped with a big U bend about in the center. Seems like the only way is to bend it out mostly straight then insert it at the rear wheel well first and wiggle it into position behind the back seat. Then get under the car...

    Cowl Clean-out

Has anyone used a hole saw to cut an opening at the top of the firewall in order to clean out the cowl opening? Mine is full of 50 years of garbage and I don't want to take the fenders off. I see a few places where people have cut that section open and then welded it back up, but would cutting...

    Torsion bar crossmember thickness

I recently bought a 1969 Coronet Deluxe with a Slant Six. First B body after three F bodies. Among a million other things, the floor needs to be replaced. As I’m tearing out the floor, I can see that the passenger side of the torsion bar crossmember is pretty much rusted away (the top is...
