I have one more thing to add to this post, those front seats don't look like they have the emblems like the back seats? I know my 67 has the emblems on both the front and back, but now that I have looked at pictures on the internet some cars had the emblems and others didn't? I wish my Charger...
Thanks for the information on the bushings. Its amazing how much more parts are available for these cars, even though its not close to what brand x has. I remember when I bought my 67 Charger in 1999, all you really had was ebay or shows to find parts.
Updating on my dim headlights situation, I checked over the grounds etc. too, but other than the bulkhead connector I didn't see anything horrible. I decided to ordered the headlight relay kit from "Crackedback" and finally got it installed on the 67. It fixed my problem with dim headlights...
Those braces were installed on dodge trucks with small blocks. If you don't use them there is a chance of the bellhousing cracking especially if off roading (I have seen pictures). Anybody that has those braces and don't want them, you should sell them to the truck guys, they are always...
Thanks for the information, I don't know if they are halogen, I don't think I ever changed the headlights in the 22 years I have owned it. It was one of those problems that I could never figure out when I was younger (not patient) but now that I'm older I'm going to fix the problem. I will...
Hello,
My first post in this section of the forum. I have a 67 Charger that has had dim headlights since 1999 when I bought it. I have checked grounds and I think the plugs on the back of the lights too and never found any issues. Could this problem be the bulkhead or a headlight switch...
My valve covers seal fine now just sorting out the grommets. I got the pcv valve grommet to fit barely and now need to find a breather. No big deal really, they are baffled.
Mine are on a 906 head, when i first bought these valve covers I almost went broke trying to keep them from leaking. Before that I had cheap chrome covers but they sealed up decent. I just remember my dad saying 22 years ago "keep it stock and if not broke dont fix it", and also, "those first...
My valve covers are from 2004/5, could that make a difference then?
I will probably try the Ford grommets, today I will measure them again to make sure I didn't mess up the measurements. Thank you everybody for the information.
Does anybody know what grommets and breather caps will fit the knockout hole on a Mopar Performance cast aluminum valve cover? This is not the hole where you twist a breather or cap on and off its just the smooth hole.
Thanks for the compliment, since these pictures were taken, I have put the dual snorkel factory air cleaner on the engine and have installed a C body fan shroud on the engine.
Hello, new to this forum but not Chrysler. I have owned a 1967 Dodge Charger since 1999. I bought the car instead my Senior year in High school. I first had the Charger in my hometown near Auburn Hills Michigan where I would drive it by the Chrysler tech center. I then had it down in Muncie...
I know this is an older post and I am new here but if I saw a 392 hemi sitting in a barn I would lose my mind. Also that sling shot they pulled out was too cool.
