Rob, Thanks. Is there any way you can hook up a speaker and antenna to see if it has reception? Mine lights up and the needle moves back and forth as well however there is no reception across the AM band.

Has it been tested to see if it works? Does tuning dial move the needle across the station ranges properly?

Thanks Red. Yes, The carb is ready to install. I have this particular bracket. The one I need has a longer slot and is shaped with a bit more of a curve to it. Regards Charlie

Hoping to find a carter 4711S. Have a 4615S that I thought was correct for my '69 383 roadrunner, 4 speed with air but have recently found otherwise. Car about to go to paint, motor at shop... Thought I was set on this detail but am now searching. Any help or leads would sure be appreciated...

Totally worth it. You have the right idea and the right mindset. The journey is the best part. finishing a car is awesome, but getting there is perhaps the most fun of all! I just turned 50, have a year and a half old son and another on the way... I intend to keep up with the hobby...
