Chrysler at Carlisle; Carlisle, PA.; July 10th-13th

My son and I went to Chryslers at Carlisle today bright and early, about a 2 1/2 hour drive. Got there around 9:00. It was a very hot day (lower 90's) but a great day with loads of parts and some very nice cars for sale. My son scored some parts for his upcoming 68 Coronet 500 resto, like a 727...

    The Old MOPAR Curse....

Those are the actual bezels put on by a previous owner. I've been trying to get my son (body shop owner) to remove them, weld up the holes and repaint the areas but no luck so far. Actually, I don't get too upset about it as they almost look like they "belong" there.... Bob32268

    The Old MOPAR Curse....

I liked ALL the musclecars from the 60's... my fastest ride was in a friends 65 Tri-Power 4-speed GTO, that one was a rocket with tires ! I bought my first GTO in '68 and had quite a feww since then. I always loved the 68 - 70 Chargers but could never get any kind of a deal from the local...

    The Old MOPAR Curse....

I was driving GTO's back then so I never had this problem. A lot of buddies with Roadrunners and SuperBees did.

    The Old MOPAR Curse....

I took the 69 Charger out for a test drive today...I was about three miles from my house on the entrance ramp to Route 22 West when my car just died on me... I called my son and he came down with some tools etc. The car was not getting any spark.... Couldn't find problem so we called for a...

Anyone know how I can get a title in Pennsylvania?

Is Broadway Title Company still in "business" ? They used to handle this type of problem by getting you a Pink Slip from another state, then send this into Harrisburg DMV to get a Pa title. Tks, Bob32268

    Too early.

Same problem here. When I get up early I take a 3 mg melatonin pill and it usually helps me to get back to sleep shortly. Tks, Bob32268

Octane rating when mixing Regular gas (93octane) with Racing fuel (110) octane.

Definitely 906 heads....not sure of the other specs as the engine was rebuilt by a previous owner. Tks, Bob

Octane rating when mixing Regular gas (93octane) with Racing fuel (110) octane.

If 93 Octane today is the equivalent to 98 Octane gas in the 60's, what was the Hi-test Octane rating we used to use in the 60's? I think I read somewhere that is was around 106 Octane ? Tks, Bob32268

Octane rating when mixing Regular gas (93octane) with Racing fuel (110) octane.

I'm having a hard time finding ethanol free gas around here (Western Pa.) thats at 93 or above octane rating.....

Octane rating when mixing Regular gas (93octane) with Racing fuel (110) octane.

I believe you're missing the point.... I'm trying to approximate the octane of the gasoline I used back in the 60's when these cars were new....I drove these and other musclecars back in the 60's and early 70's and they ran much better than they do on the junk gas available today... I realize...
