Center grille section, good shape, does have 1 mounting tab broken. $100 Headlight buckets, complete minus screws for bulb covers. $100 each. Right taillight, G E R. Ok shape, does have 1 crack. $80 Front C chrome, grille surround. Both show small cracks, some pitting, not perfect, but good...

You may need more intitial advance, went through the same thing with a 284/484. W more advance, you can back the carb down to the idle slots. However, the dist needs to be modified to not go over 36-38 degrees total

How to you get by the prob of too much timing at higher rpms then? The old weld them up trick?

You ever fig out base/overall timing? It makes a big difference
