FWIW my 70 Rover 3500S with the ex-buick 215 had the same heat riser to feed the 2 SU carbs. But...there is a vacuum valve that opens at full throttle, to let pure, cold air in, for max power! I probably have a photo somewhere.
I think the photo of the exhaust manifolds is not for the K. I do have the correct K exhaust manifolds, one is split, but weldable, as the separation point does not impinge on the port.
Numbers matching 64 300K motor and 727, with correct single carb. Plus, long sonic ram tubes for 62-63, and 284 Street Hemi camshaft. Motor disassembled, transmission assembled. Located PDX, might deliver San Jose to Vancouver BC. $5000. Will not split. More photos when I find them. A few...
I had exactly the same problem: after a rebuild by a reputable shop, steering was dead. Turn wheel, wheel no turn back. Finally, I bought a Lares fast ratio box, and now it is much better, not completely normal, but acceptable. I even put in Firm Feel extra caster rods, no effect. It is...
PS "63 Fury" looks much better now, with proper original wheels, new paint and tan top.. Alexander the Great is now 12, and has his license...:BangHead:
Hog and Mustang. I have 500h in the Hog. Guarantee the Mustang is faster, higher, and more fun.
Actually, I lie, and only Hog drivers are entitled to invent new HOG-diss jokes. Bird strikes...on the trailing edge, etc.
The A-10 design spec required 450 KIAS, not easy with this max drag...
I think I should buy the kit, in case the shaft is deformed, no?

Thanks, it does not look like the "comb" that moves by the shift cable, and complete's the N circuit. But why would it jam the shift cable? I think maybe the pieces were in the pan, so maybe the piece impeded the cable? Is the 5.0 designation a size, or tension, ???? Is the 5 for the Hemi...
IT WAS NOT THE BUTTONS, OR CABLE! After 3x under adjusting new transmission selector cable, I finally had it towed to a shop. There the mechanic finally took off the pan and discovered this fractured neutral switch contact lever! i cannot find a reference in the shop manual, but...is it this...
underbody stramlining reduces drag greatly. Hence all contemporary cars have a frangible air dam under the bumper. I have trashed one on my Olds, now my Lincoln, on the standard height parking buffers.
