My 70 GTX has two different size heater hoses. the firewall connections are 5/8 on one and 1/2 on the other. is this normal? So many pics i've seen have two 5/8 lines

putting my 70 together and am looking for a left front "c " molding for the fender. needs to be good driver quality that dosen't need to be re-chromed. I'm new here and would appreciate any help.
