    Stock valve cover clearance

Was hopeing for a cheaper alternative/answer as those are $230 bucks Canadian plus shipping, brokerage etc. Does anyone have a stock valve cover they can measure the inside height from the mounting surface to the baffles?

    Stock valve cover clearance

Does anyone run stock valve covers on a 440 with Edelbrock heads and Hughes rockers? I have some no name stamped valve covers that are slightly taller but they won't stop leaking. I think the shape is slightly off on them as all the gaskets I've tried never fit the corners very well.

Driveshaft Safety Loop, 1966-1970 Mopar B-Body-MDL1700 Has anyone tried these? I'm no fabricator/welder and these looked like a solid piece and specific or the B-body. I did a search but the one user who mentioned them prior has a full in box.

    Mopar Turquoise powder coat

I painted my engine and valve covers with Mopar brand turquoise paint which seems to be no longer sold/made. I am going to replace the valve covers with something that hopefully won't leak and was wondering if anyone has found a powder coat brand/colour that matches the Mopar rattle can.

The sad demise of American car culture

Born in 82 so depending on whos chart you look at I end up as a millennial. Dad was a mechanic and I followed his footsteps. But as for current car culture it's alive but in different more affordable cars the tuner guys have their thing going like them or not I can still respect it. (There...

    RB Valve cover studs

Thanks for all the reply's. I'll see what I can find either set screws or the ARP kit. I had the blue rubber moroso ones under the aftermarket stamped steel covers and the drivers side always leaked a litle. I bought the felpro permadry ones and put them on this weekend. I drove out to a car...

    RB Valve cover studs

Fighting leaking valve cover gaskets on my 440 with Edelbrock RPM heads. I have a solid flat tappet so need to remove them for periodic checks/adjustments and want to try a set of studs instead of bolts. Does anyone know which ARP kit was the best fit for length etc? I have a set of stamped...

    Rear Sway bar poor install?

I wasn't in love with the set-up and did look at the firm feel and a few others. However price and shipping cost I decided to try it again. I also thought about just taking it off to see what the difference was like without it.

    Rear Sway bar poor install?

Autoxcuda is right. I unbolted it and printed out the instructions from Addco. The bar was too far forward by about 2-3 inches. Re-drilled the holes for the bolts in the subframe and got the end links vertical. Length was good for the links still.

    Rear Sway bar poor install?

This sway bar was on the rear of my 67' Belvedere when I bought it. I THINK it's an Addco/Direct Connection one. Is it the right bar or just mounted wrong? It been rubbing on the rear of the differential housing and there has been an attempt to space it away.

    Backfire

Update: Timing was at 24 deg initial, I can't seem to find my paper which had the distributor info for what the base was supposed to be at but it sounded high so I back it to 20 deg. I also lightened up the tension on the secondary air door by 1/8 turn and the backfire is gone. I wasn't...
