Short history; 400 miles, built by Dvorack, 30 over, ten over, light weight rods and pistons, 1/16" rings; had to remove 36 grams from crank to balance. Eddy hi dual, eddy 750, MSD. At first, no noise, then picked up lifter tic(hyd, cam-not much duration over stock; 9.5 adv comp. Cam supposed...

    Edelbrock carb

69 440, mild, 15" vacuum. Idle will kill you, think it is lean; plugs tan, exhaust sooty black, runs good under cruise or power. Water, not antifreeze, out the tail pipes. Read that lean mix on primary (750 edelbrock, leaned jets in primary) will lean out the idle circuit? Not rich smell, head...

    steering 69 Charger

OK, no help on the first post, let's try this. Loose and wandering, but only when floored (hopped 440), TF. And this is from a 30 mph roll, doesn't seem to be spinning that much, just wants both lanes. Car has been wrecked, with a tweaked kmember, caster is 0; that it? offset upper bushings?

    rear set up

Ok, we got the 440 in, rebuilt 8 3/4 3.55. New BFG (I know). It always spins hard and slides to the left. With a factory set up, how to adjust for that? He doesn't want a 4 link. Longer rear shackle on the left?

    Edelbrock and PCV

440, 750. Is the big port on the front un-ported? or do we need to feed PCV from manifold?

    clutch fan or flex?

we have an unknown 69 Charger; originally 383, now 440. Have 3 1/4 space from front of pulley to radiator. Can't find a clutch fan short enough. What flex fan is good? (have a 2" spacer we can use).

    383 to 400, 60 Charger

We can't get the motor mounts to align; the bracket with the curve on driver's side. Engine swing to the pass side at rear. Are the brackets on wrong side? or the Napa mounts(made in India) wrong. We can't get both thru bolts in it, like the rubber is too high, and cocks the rear to the pass...

    69 Charger

Can't find the old thread, question is, we lost the original holes for the chrome trim that runs (vinyl top) from the vee, to where it stops at the rear glass trim, inside the sail. Since the studs hold off the trim, hard to figure the correct location to drill. Any pics? Thanks.

    69 charger

Hi all. I'm green1 from abodies. Due to no work, I'm going to help a good buddy do bodywork on a rust bucket. It wasn't that bad, until the bondo was stripped, and sat under a plastic tarp, in the yard, for years (we used to ride in it; I think his brother bought it in 77). On this car, I'll...
