I recently chatted with AMS Obolete in GA they have at least 2 1979 300s and I've heard they have more, hopefully they have the wiper part you're missing. I was told "call, don't email" and that advice was accurate. I called every day for a week and only got a busy signal. Eventually I got...

Well I made some progress today, it rang and their answering service picked up so at least I know the number is still good. The answering service said to call back during their business hours between 11am and 6pm and then it hung up on me. It is 4pm but I don't feel bad about it. Will keep trying!

I noticed that the reproduced cam is like a mirror image of the original and asked MP about it and they said "it should work, just use the inside parts".
