Just bought a freshly built motor but the guy didn’t know what cam is in it. Here’s what I made of the hand etchings

If anybody has any info it would be greatly appreciated!!
I can barely feel the ridge the rings left with my finger except in one of the cylinders it’s rather pronounced. I could probably hone them all out by hand I would think. Talked with lunati cams rep and he said they don’t have a solid cam suitable for me having the lower compression he needs...
I appreciate the feedback so far everybody…leaning more to the solid cams now after reading into it since I’m already planning on going with adjustable rockers.
I have considered that. But wouldn’t I need to get the cylinders bored due to having light etchings where my rings stopped at the top of cylinder? I heard going past that with new pistons could break piston rings. Or do the rings stay in the same place but the top of the piston just raises up...
Okay so a solid cam would be more beneficial? Or should I just run the stock rockers on the Edelbrock heads with hydraulic cam/lifters… would one make more power than the other? Also no luck finding a .528 cam
Need help picking a cam for my 440 D100 pickup truck I am building, looking for something drivable but aggressive. Specs below
1970 440HP bored 30 over
727 auto trans (unsure of TC size)
3.55 rear
L2388 flat top pistons .125 in hole
Stock Forged crank
Holley street dominator intake
750cfh...
Pheww I don’t have another 2800 to put out! But could my block be decked? Is there a door way to tell if it’s been decked like how we checked with the heads?
Okay, wanted to put a decent cam in it to utilize the aluminum heads but it sounds like these pistons are really hindering me. How much would I benefit from getting new pistons? Any recommendations?
I have the motor completely disassembled in my garage right now. I did a compression test on all cylinders and these are the results…
8-160
6-40
4-120
2-120
1-150
3-90
5-150
7-170
Cyl6 had missing pushrod
Cyl3 had very sunken exhaust valve
I didn’t know anything about the motor buying it, my grandfather bought it from some guy selling it on the side of the road.never drove it in the road, did run the motor with truck stationary but wasn’t firing on cyl 6 due to intake pushrod fell out likely due to wiped cam and a bunch of sunken...
Okay, I’ll just get the smallest CC edelbrocks and roll with it. But i think my heads were decked down from 88cc to maybe 75-80cc which would add up to the right CR to put out 170 psi @8.5:1 CR. So I’m hoping swapping to 75cc heads holds me right around where I’m at maybe a little more...
