The rear quarter lip is rolled flat to clearance a wide tire at some point. Luckily it's a pretty solid body to start. Compression is a little low @ 110-120psi on the 383 (even with 516's) but no smoke. It's got a good lope, but everything internal is an unknown so itchin to open it up. See lots...
Got a 65 Belvedere that I think spent much of it's life gettin thrashed on the street or strip. The 4spd is chained similar to a torque strap on the motor. Was this common or just one guys mod to secure the driveline?
Take it up to the Barona Drags and park by the entrance. Tonight was Nostalgia night but any weekend will get it good exposure with the Mopar crowd. Should be real close to you.
