I agree, charger doors would not line up with coronet rear quarters. Thats why I wanted to keep the coronet doors and rear quarters. The question is, would charger front fenders line up with the front edge of coronet doors?

Yes, I did order from the link you posted. Will have to put it in the next time I have the dash apart.

Turns out I was able to install the 5 prong circuit board connector backwards. That's what caused the short. Dash reiinstalled and everything works now.

There it is, burnt circuit trace. Now my question is, what caused this? I installed leds in the dash. Too much voltage? I thought this mod was supposed to work. Has anyone else done this?

Yes, I agree the common denominator between these two gauges has to be the connector, pins or circuit board traces. I thought I was careful with it but maybe not careful enough. I will pull the dash again tomorrow and check these things out.

I checked the 4 prongs after I took the dash out. They were all solid and not wiggly.

69 charger originally had bucket seats and original floor pan.

Im not sure it is any higher the stock. The stock seats have almost 6" high brackets beneath them. I would think you could take the stock brackets and cut and weld them and at least get two inches out of them.

I don't know if anyone has posted this before but I just bought the seat adapters for Scat Procar seats for the 68-70 chargers. These seat adapters are NOT a direct bolt in affair. The mounting holes do not align with the floorpan. You must modify them to fit. See attached pictures. Just a...
