Hi all,
The push-on retainer that keeps the split bench seat on the driver's side isn't staying on the little peg that the seat pivots on, when I fold down the seat. I'm not sure if there is supposed to be sort of groove that the retainer sits in but there seems to be none. Any ideas on how I...
Thanks, everyone.
No fan clutch or shroud from the factory that I'm aware of but they will be added soon. All of what you guys said makes sense.
From the top rivet. New Murray cap does the same damn thing, maybe a fluke. Probably need better parts with no rivet.

Hi all,
69 Bee with a 383, 22" radiator, no AC. The car runs and cools fine except at idle in hot weather, it starts to creep up. I will be installing a shroud soon but my questions are:
- Why does the temp gauge go up when the engine is turned off? Is this just residual heat going into the...
Hey all,
Happy Friday. As my 383 warms up and reaches close to the 1st tick on the pressure gauge, it's around 20+ PSI at idle. But when fully warm at idle reads 10 psi with the Rallye dash cluster. I feel that's kind of low but have read that 10-20 is fine. my sending unit is a 90 psi...
Hello and happy Friday to everyone. I just got my parking brake pedal assembly installed but sometimes it grabs and sometimes it doesn't. I can jiggle the release handle and maybe push the pedal to one side or the other, as there is some side to side play, and then it will catch when I depress...
Ahh.. gotcha. Thanks man. Now I know of what you speak. The PO or whoever sure used a **** ton of weatherstrip adhesive on the rear window that's kinda getting in the way. That stuff is not fun to try to get out of the way.
Thanks again,
Mikey
Thanks. I see jagged edges that might be the edge of the headliner. The headliner is somewhat wrapped around the back of that. Is that how you mean by "teeth"?
Thanks,
Mikey
Hi all,
I have a bunch of trim stuff that came with my car. I've read some super helpful posts from Dadsbee and others and I'd like to install the cheapie plastic trim from YearOne that I already have onto the headliner and rear window. (see pic below on the left). My sides, top and bottom...
Bird - Totally... same page.
Nacho, thanks again man. That was the problem. Installed a 1004 bulb and everything works correctly now. Almost like having a regular car that works like... a regular car :)
Thanks again,
Mikey
Nacho, you did it again. Thanks! The bulb in there now is a single contact 105 bulb. I think I have a 1004 at home that I can try when I get back. So I supposed I will have to roll my pink and yellow wires back to match, correct?
Thanks,
Mikey
Thanks Bird, that's what I suspected, also. Just not sure where.
I did install the new harness and everything that is connected works fine. I'll bet that short is in the dome light harness somewhere above the headliner because the way the PO ran the harness seems to be diagonally from the...
Well, I had partial success which ended up in blowing the dome/brake fuse.
Here's the details - I installed my new door jamb switches, connected them with the yellow wires coming from the main harness. Then I made up a little intermediate harness with pretty Molex connectors, plugged it in...
Thanks all,
Ronnie, yes - if by windlace you mean the black U-channel stuff that is universal and typically goes over pinch seams, yea.. that's about it. I have weatherstripping screwed into the body metal above the door window and nothing else.
I think I'm missing the gasket and other trim...
Full dash wiring harness from the bulkhead connector at the firewall to everything on the dash and out to the door switches. This one was installed in my Super Bee however it was incorrect because I have the rally dash that needed to buy a new harness. This one was purchased from Classic...
Awesome. Thanks very much. Right now, the PO put up black flexible trim that I suppose has to come down. The weatherstripping, however, is screwed into the little holes in the roof along the top of the door edge. Is that correct? And how does this metal piece fit over/with the weatherstripping...
Hi All,
When I bought my car, the PO had many parts in boxes, still needing to be put on. I’m coming down to the homestretch of the interior and I’m pretty sure these pieces go over the weatherstripping on the upper window of the door. But I don’t know how they are supposed to mount. Anyone...
