Hi all,

Our '69 Bee came with a bunch of small parts and some trim that need to be put back on. Can anyone tell me what these various clips are and where they go? I think the ones in the left row are for the headliner metal trim? If so, could someone maybe post a pic of that piece installed along with the chrome trim? I think the chrome trim is missing on mine, as I only have the exterior trim above the doors along the roof line.

Thanks very much,

The set on the far right clip the two halves of the heater box together.
Not sure on the others.

Thanks, Steve. My heater box came disassembled so that definitely helps.

at first glance, the ones on the left might hold the interior trim over the doors........but it's early for me

If the two large brackets have a hole in them, they are to hold the package tray board in place. On the left, you are correct. (On the right, now I don't know... thought they were for the heater boxes on 70s E-Bodies, but I just checked my reference pictures, and that is not correct). The other clips are for the headliner bows.

Left clips, they go in the interior metal trim above the side glass to hold it to the roof

Top 2 for package tray, the screw in from the front and the top edge goes over th cardboard.

Middle 4 go in the roof rails and the headliner bows rest in them.

The right clips I don't recognize and a 66-70 heater box doesn't use any clips to hold it together.

Thanks everyone. Does anyone have a picture of how the metal trim (and chrome trim??) above the side glass are installed? I'm looking in the FSM but it's tough to see.

Thanks,
Mikey
