Most of the BB upgrades have been mentioned but you may need a fan shroud and different fan if you don't already have the correct set up. Also you will want to step up to the BB LARGER FUEL LINES if adequate fuel flow is desired. It is a big difference and the BB horsepower creates more heat for...
Maybe it's just me but does anyone else think it isn't a great introduction to the B Body Forum to have a large banner ad color picture pop up showing some guy's foot with serious toe nail fungus?
gto64gto,
It has been quite a while since the ad was placed for the 65 Belvedere parts. After looking around, it appears that the kick panels were sold last year some time.
gto64gto,
I'll check on the kick panels tomorrow. The parking brake bezel threads into a receiver in the dash so feel around behind the bezel and see if it is just loose.
The two attached photos show the original trunk mat in my 65 which is a gray color - not blue. The other shows the original spare tire lock down hardware which is different than the one shown in your photo. The position of the jack is ok but it did not come from the factory with the black piece...

65 Belvedere II Grill Emblem
Here is a photo of the original untouched grill emblem on my 65 Belvedere II that I've had since it was new. This is a very early production car with the door panels dated Aug 64 and the wheels dated June 64. I have heard that this version was used on Belvedere IIs...
These are about the best photos I have that were taken during the restoration of my 65 Belvedere II convertible. Hope these help sort out your efforts,
Arland
Hopefully the attached photos of my 65 Belvedere will show you the routing of the wiring harnesses, the factory location of the regulator and all the other components on your 65 Satellite.
1965 Plymouth Belvedere II Convertible
This 65 Belvedere II convertible is the car I used in 1965 to get my learner's permit and then to get my driver's license. After driving it for 47 years it seems like the time to let someone else enjoy top down driving. Two years ago, the car received a...
Hood Latch Mechanism
Furyous,
The spring that shows up in your first two photos is attached to the latch you are asking about and moves it up and down to capture the hood latch rod. If it just flaps up and down, either the spring is shot/disconnected or the inner mechanism isn't working...
