Completely fresh Professional rebuild! Transmission was completely disassembled, glass bead blasted, and thoroughly cleaned. Case was etch primed before painting, all new bearings, seals, thrust washers, and synchro’s. This transmission looks and operates like new, ready to install. Located in...
Every one I have seen used a 307 bearing, except, 18 spline Hemi, uses 308, and early A body used 207 bearing. The tailstocks will flip flop no problem, very simple procedure.
I stand corrected, sorry yes the mount on the B/E style is farther forward, I guess I never knew that, the other option is, just swap tailstocks from yours onto a 68-69 style trans , they are same mainshaft I know that for sure, because I rebuild them all the time and there is only one slip yoke...
70-up B/E tailstocks are same in dimension as the 68-69 B body unit except the 70-up has 2 shifter mounts, I have a fresh rebuilt 68-69 one for sale on here right now. Drive shaft will not change in length.

Hey guy's don't get on the B body forum much, but I'm a regular on For A bodies only. I rebuild a bunch of these transmissions every year, these are not rattle can rebuilds! I completely disassemble the transmission, inspect all part's, bead blast the cases and replace all bearings, seals...
From what I can find online on the max wedge websites it’s not a max wedge , I’m guessing someone added them to the block. I’ll get the casting numbers on Sunday when I get home.
Ok, got it figured out, Chrysler historical does have the numbers. I sent them the copy of the title, and the DMV put an extra 7 on the end of the vin, so that was the problem. So now I have to go get the title fixed. Chrysler historical is doing a build sheet for me right now, and then Galen...
Guy's I can't find any info on how to decode my vin tag in the drivers side door jam. I am new to early B bodies and bought a super clean 64 sport fury 426 wedge 4 speed car last fall for next to nothing that is completely stripped down to a very clean rust free shell. I have all the parts to...
Very nice set of windshield trim removed from a 65 coronet, overall great condition, will probably need a good buffing, light scratches and a tiny ding on bottom trim will buff out easy. Very hard to find in this nice of condition! Asking $100 plus ride from central Wisconsin.
My nephews guard unit is on its way to Florida to work as security forces, they were issued body armor and live ammunition, shits gonna get real in the next couple days after weather clears up
All the holes are in still in it, I sorted the trim and it looks like at least 2 complete sets. Also came with an aluminum max wedge Hoodscoop. Holes in hood match up perfect. Haven't sorted interior parts yet, but it came with a 64 belvidere 4 dr parts car. I have seats and door panels, as well...
Alrighty, got it figured out now, car is a 64 sport fury 426 street wedge, console 4 speed car, with 3:23 rear gears, it's in the garage, pics will follow as we begin the restoration.
Ok, so this is what I have found online, and with the help of you guy's so far. I am fairly confident that this is a gold 64 sport fury Max Wedge 4 speed car. Does anyone have the Darrel Davis book for 64 that could help me out checking the VIN number? This is the original color of the car in...
