Thank you Eldubb440! He took these pictures when he helped me bring the R/T home after its alignment. Then we went for a (break-in and debug) drive. My car is now a driver. I was starting to feel like I was never going to drive it. (I am going to repost this on my thread too.)

First time my car is out and about. Car is at Tire Corral. Front end alignment. I told them not to drive it. I don’t need anything to happen until all the gremlins are worked out.
The bumper went on with no problems. Finally the whole back is together. The last milestone will be the back window. All that metal has to be right. The stainless has to fit perfectly in order to look right.
I was going to get my bumper plated. But It would be the shiniest thing on the car. I am trying to polish it up with 0000 steel wool and some metal polish. coming out pretty good. I can really see the dents in it now.
Guess what I've been driving. she has her very own gas tank instead of the plastic jug now. I put the seats in with belts. The windshield is duct taped in. I take the R/T to get a front end alignment on Saturday. Then I can really start to drive a little more. Going to go see Eldubb440...

These skins are way off in the bumper reset. This side came out better then the first side. I circled the area that needed to be worked.
This is...
I was too young to be involved with anything cool. My older cousins and Uncles all worked there. I was 3 when they started the business. I did have a collection of cool sales brochures. I spent a lot of time with the film projector/record player that showed slides of all the cars and beeped...
That picture of the brick building was the original location of the dealership from 1969 to 1973. They build the new Dodge and Subaru (Van House) behemoth, on the other side of Route 30, in 1973. The old location became a body shop. I think the body shop was called Tower Auto Body. Then in...
Here is the Welding part. I went old school and used a MOPAR MUSCLE magazine article form July 2005 as my guide. I did things a little different since I panel Bonded the bottom of the panel. I did not drill and set ALL the clecos until I was done the glueing in case there was a shift. I am...
The fender is now a permanent part of the car. I am in the process of butt welding the top and sides. I used 3m panel bond for the wheel arch and extension to eliminate future corrosion from the welds. We used plenty of clamps and covered them with plastic wrap so they didn't stick to the...
