1970 Coronet R/T Project (Dasfusca's Car)

I had a reproduction made of the tag frame.

what year did it become Napa? I only remember the Napa being there, and the Dodge dealership that eventually became the Van House
That picture of the brick building was the original location of the dealership from 1969 to 1973. They build the new Dodge and Subaru (Van House) behemoth, on the other side of Route 30, in 1973. The old location became a body shop. I think the body shop was called Tower Auto Body. Then in 1979, when they sold the Dodge and Subaru dealership, they opened the NAPA. If I remember right.
Here is Aunt Marge in front of the new location (1974?). That became the Van House. It is GMotors now.

Cool history, thanks for sharing. I knew a guy who's dad owned a dodge dealer and he was the new car prep guy. His stories of the cars he prepped from 70 til 73 or so are pretty cool.

I was too young to be involved with anything cool. My older cousins and Uncles all worked there. I was 3 when they started the business. I did have a collection of cool sales brochures. I spent a lot of time with the film projector/record player that showed slides of all the cars and beeped to change the image. I still have the dealer logo fly swatters, t-shirts, keychains and all the swag they gave away.

We finally got our warm weather here in NJ. We were able to get the bottom of the last panel set with panel bond. Set up and cured in 2 days.

These skins are way off in the bumper reset. This side came out better then the first side. I circled the area that needed to be worked.

This is the last patch for the quarter I had to make. Now all I have to do is weld everything up.
