I think there were 3 trim levels available in the Coronet series: 330, 440, and 500. I would think you have the 500 rear seat cushions.
I can't speak to the seat but, if your interior was swapped into a bench seat interior, it was cobbled to adapt.

Maybe a short in the high beam circuit if the low beams do come on. When you switch to high beams a short would kick open the circuit breaker in the light switch, so immediately going back to low beams would not work as the CB would have to cool down to complete the circuit.

I never tried to change the spring out in a assembled trans, so I stand corrected.
I did install both servo pistons in my 65 build with Copes billet pistons. I wanted all the insurance I could get with over 750 ft lbs of torque running through the trans!

When I switched my 65 Coronet to a dual master system, the original MC studs were too small to cut new splines in the dual cylinder so, I used JB Weld and epoxied them in. Worked great!

So, perhaps the shoe diameter more closely matches the drums on the front? Ahh the good old days of grinding/arcing the shoes to fit! Loved the smell of that asbestos!

Ok. I should have phrased that less confusingly. Long lining always goes to the rear. It is the extra friction that makes the brakes "self energizing"!
