Gas gauge never worked since I bought the car. Put ground to the actual tank, nothing happens. Checked for voltage at the sending unit, found nothing.
Checked all 5 fuses in the glovebox, all good. Checked from the tabs.
Found the circuit board behind instruments, now what?
The 440 in my Road Runner just started leaking from what looks like the crossover section. Exhaust will come out on the pass. side of the intake toward the Carb.. I assume it's blown gasket? Which gasket should I use to eliminate this? Only thing I know of the intake is it says Mopar on it and...
Yes, when I fill it right up it leaks from the top of the tank. Looked at the seam on the side and it's okay. Not leaking from the sending unit as well. The sending unit also doesn't work. So I never know how much is in it.
Any ideas? What else can I look for? I'm about to drop the tank and...
About to get new headers for my '69 Road Runner with a 440. After looking over the various choices i am faced with what size I should get. 1-3/4,1-7/8 or 2. Think anything over 2 would be too big.
Car is stock with I think 3.23 rear, 4 speed. Engine is a 750 Holley, aluminum intake. Mopar...
The OEM starter on my 69 440 Runner went kaput recently. A friend recommended to put in one from a 2000 Dodge 1500 360 pickup. Fits beautifully, sounds great and its lighter. Only trouble is when I put the header back on its interfering with the starter and won't go on.
Has anyone got any ideas?
Putting my 440 back together over the weekend. The engine has only an alternator. When I put the water pump pulley on it doesn't line up with either the crank or alternator.
What should be the height of the stock water pump pulley? Both the crank and alternator have two grooves but the water...
On my 1969 Road Runner the clutch pedal sticks coming halfway up from the floor. Are there any lube points to alleviate it? Or anything else to look at?
I'm trying to put a 750 Street HP carb on my 440. The carb bolts in no problem. Once I try to connect the fuel feed line it runs right into the distributor. I am using a Summit G3100 chrome feed line.
I am about to lower my 1969 Road Runner by rearching the rear springs by 2 to 3 inches. Can I adjust the front Torsion bars the same amount? I know I am going closer to the bump stops, all my other cars are lowered as well.
Trying to determine if my '69 Runner is sitting at the right ride height. Don't know what springs are in the back end but I think it sits high. How do I determine what the right ride height should be? What points do I measure from?
Just piecing my '69 Runner back together and found out I am missing the washer nozzles and the hoses. I have the fluid bottle and motor.
Does anyone have pictures of the mounting and what these look like?
Thanks
