FYI my "mom and pop" upholstery shop makes new foam with a hot knife and for a few dollars more will add a thin layer of memory foam. A bit cheaper than ordering repo molded foam.
I repair 8 tracks and it's the parts availability that costs $$$$. If you just need a belt, head cleaning, and capacitors your 8 track can be repaired for under $200. If you need a pinch roller, motor, etc the price climbs fast.
My opinion is AM radio is going away. Personally I think this is a...
Well I'm 100% satisfied with the job he did on the Grand Marquis, but about 90% satisfied with the Coronet. I asked him to be careful about the front window near the wing frame and he said he would gap the tint. For whatever reason he told me he wanted to gap the tint at the quarter window, too...

Thanks.

Then take newspaper and a mist of warm water and scrub. Follow up with car wax and lots of buffing.
I have found that Griots Garage glass polish works great. It might take 3, or 4 applications, but the results are...
I believe @JimKueneman used superglue and wire to tighten up the crack on his radio tune gear. Search here for his fix:
