What is the best way to check for cast or forged without pulling the engine apart further? I know the tink test will tell you if its cast or forged.. But with the rotating assembly together and the pan still on it its hard to tell.

I have a 489 sure grip clutch style it has new clutches in the sure grip as well as a doctor diff rebuild kit. I opted for the crush sleeve eliminator when it was put together. Also has all new ring bolts. I am not sure the guy set it up correct. Probably needs to be set up again. Asking 500.00...
